Bridge Desire (Poem)

If I could be anything, I'd be a bridge

The bridge’s purpose is 
To allow one to cross 
Whenever they get around to it

As a bridge, 
You simply be, are, am, and is

Don’t think about how 
Other people would use you, 
As a bridge

The whole point of being 
A bridge
Is to not think 

That’s the luxury, 
Hence the cost

Other people have to ask 
‘When will I cross that bridge?’ 
Or put it off 

Let them ask the questions, 
Dress themselves with worry

I want to be a bridge
I want to live, 
As you ask yourself how
