Writer’s Note:
Hello readers, happy March. I hope you’ve been enjoying the poetry. It’s a part of my writing I cherish. It has also allowed me to continue sharing my work while managing my course work. So if poetry isn’t your poison of choice, I appreciate you humoring me. Yet, if you ache for some prose I won’t leave you hungry. I have a handful of fiction in various draft stages. Nevertheless, I wanted to say a quick thank you for the continued reading and support. Until the next post,

Emotional Rustling
Dogged and leashed
By mysterious palpations
Of the heart
I know nothing to do
But bark,
And wait for a bone
In the meantime,
My feelings go searching
Looking for:
Their way out,
A way to breathe
Fresh air,
And not be
Contained
Yet,
The doors and windows
Remain
Latched
With rusty hinges
Preventing
Entry or exit
I remain restless and rustled.
